As usual, I'm late for the party.
I never heard about the fake Steve Jobs blogs. So this week, when the NY Times busted the Forbes magazine columnist who was writing the fake Steve Jobs blog, I was filled with the greatest desire to see what this was all about. This writing is hilarious. I am planning to start reading the blog from the earliest posts available to the present. I am sure that since Fake Steve has been found out and identified in public, the writing may loose some of the edgy quality that it demonstrated in the past. You have to check this out. It is hilarious.

July 4th Aquatic Adventures

I am a bit late posting this, but I wanted to share this picture. I have gone on a boat trip while visiting a hamlet on the east coast called Breuklen. It is an outlying borough of the city of New Amsterdam that rests at the foot of the Hudson River. It seems some monolithic merchant carries out an exhibition of fireworks on July 4th. I took a cruise that took us close to the action. I took this picture (amongst about 300 other pictures. I thought it was a great shot and I was lucky to catch it being a photographic nimrod. I love this picture.

Another Day, Another Bizarre View
OK, I have seen this vehicle before. I have seen this thing about two or three times a year for the past couple of years. This time I had a camera by my side. I call it the revolt wagon. It's an old modified Chevy Pickup. This guy has a definite problem with authority. There are derogatory slogans against Ford, the local county government, and a mass of scary artifacts in the cabin of this vehicle. I wasn't able to get better pictures than the two I have due to the rising sun. The guy (or gal) who owns this has a set on them. It takes a brave person to drive around in this thing.I find this truck so entertaining. Unfortunately I only see it parked. I would love to get a look at this thing being driven in the middle of town, or on the highway. Just to see the look on peoples faces as it drives by would be a gas.

You Make Me Dizzy Mizz Lizzie

Now did you ever hear how beautiful Elizabeth Taylor was???
I ran across this on the web and had to comment on it.
The picture is from the set of the filming of Giant (1956, George Stevens Director) with Rock Hudson and James Dean.
50 years later, and there are hardly too many screen beauties that can compete with this. Liz looks absolutely stunning. As for contemporaries, I think she out shines Monroe back in the day. Don't get me wrong, I am the biggest sucker in the world for a blond. But compared to Liz, she was just a better than average pretty blond. I also don't think she had the same class as Liz either.
That's where my head is at today. Just freaking out over this most excelent shot of Liz Taylor. I hope you are well Mizz Liz.
Did it make your heart jump a beat? Good, go make a donation to her aids foundation as thanks for the stimulation.
Later Gator
